  1. Pre-Optometry
Just wondering what opinions you may have about the best way to prepare for the OAT. I keep hearing differing views about the Kaplan course. Some people say it's a waste of time and others say it helped because it keeps you organized and focused (which I think I might need.) Also, was not sure if I should just get a bunch of prep books instead of shelling out $1300. Oh, and I hear too that it's a lot better to just take a month off maybe and focus on prep for the test? Anything would help.

Thanks!

The big kaplan book is very helpful in terms of having everything you need to know in one book, and depending on how bad you want a great score (e.g. myself) you would read it cover to cover more than once. The ochem and Gchem sections are great but for biology i definitly recommend using the OAT destroyer as a supplement; it's more challanging than the kplan material and you learn so much from it. It also has grear QR problem/answers.
