Background: Finishing JD this year at one of Harvard/Yale law, really don't want to be a lawyer. High ugpa but basically no science courses taken. Would like to be in the northeast.

Is the best course of action to shoot for the best possible post bacc programs around (i.e. groucher, bryn mawr, jhu)? Or self study/different degree? Should I be able to get into one of those programs if I have a compelling narrative?

It sounds like a no-brainer, but make sure 1) that you have a compelling reason as to why you've decided to make the transition into medicine, 2) that you're able to articulate your interest verbally and on paper, and 3) that you get some healthcare experience in before you apply to show you're committed and have thought through your decision. Since it seems like you have strong stats, if you can do the above three things, you should be good to go for those programs. Just be sure to apply ASAP, whether now or next cycle, to take advantage of their rolling admissions processes.
