I have 6 interviews scheduled so far, and the first is this Wednesday (USC).

In addition to practicing common interview questions, are there books/articles/magazines I can read to help me come up to speed on healthcare/current events topics which might come up?

Cool, thanks for the link. Also, I have a 5-hour drive to LA from the bay tomorrow and was wondering what the best thing might be to listen to? I don't know if there is podcast that I can download a few episodes of or a certain book which might be available on audio.

Might as well use the time....just me, the open road, and my car 🙂

Harry Potter audiobooks..or maybe 50 Shades of Grey? :meanie:

I dunno, at that point I'd be sick of cramming more information about healthcare into my head. If it were me, I'd listen to an electronic music liveset (something like A State of Trance, etc.) or put my iPod on shuffle and just let it run. Let yourself relax instead of winding up the day before your interview and it'll probably help your nerves.

I haven't interviewed yet, but just listen to smoe music to get you pumped. You want to be well prepared, but over-prepared might not be a good thing. You also want to be wide-eyed and beaming at your interview, and after listening to 5 hours of medical podcasts on my car stereo I know I'd be intellectually tired.
