Best time for CK

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
do both, study intense for 6 weeks, and then take your medicine rotation and study intense during it and take the step 2
not a good idea taking step 2 without taking the medicine rotation

As soon as possible after your last shelf exam, I would not suggest cramming more than 3-4 weeks and as little as 1 should be sufficient.

Or

After you submit your ERAS application, so you can withhold your score.

Is it best to seize 6 free weeks doing nothing else but studying for CK, OR taking it after an internal medicine rotation?

Please help
Thank you in advance!

6 WEEKS! Wow! The feeling around my school is to study for 3 weeks MAX (even if you want to do really well and actually care about your score). If you read the Step 2 scoring thread, you'll see that most people study for a period of 1 to 3 weeks. Good luck. 🙂
