Let's say hypothetically that my entire Step 1 strategy was to watch medical TV shows. No studying, no pathoma, just TV. What show should I watch? Scrubs? House? Grey's?

I feel like I'm on to something here... if this goes well, I'll start a course and charge $745 per student. The materials will consist entirely of DVD rips. My gut tells me that House has the most relevant and relatively accurate medical stuff...

This is a dumb thread.

But Monsters Inside Me on Animal Planet is really interesting and accurate.

Watching Grey's for medical information is like watching the last season of Dexter for character development and satisfaction.

Seriously watching the earlier seasons of House and going through the differential yourself can be fun and educational.

Mystery Diagnosis.

Yeah it's really not.

All the show does is throw out random, unrelated, obscure disorders in a non-linear fashion, then at the end of the episode have the whole thing solved by either a test that they probably should have ordered from the outset or a nonsensical deus ex machina...
