Hey all,

I recently got my MCAT scores back. I did very well in Verbal, writing, and biological sciences, however due to my PS score (which was abnormally low for me) I am wanting to retake the test at the end of July. I had planned to submit my amcas for review in the next day or so.

My question really is: what is the best way to let these schools know that I'm retaking the test? Personal contact at each I'm applying to? Throw it into the personal statement? etc..?

Thanks for the help.

I think they find out automatically since the aamc runs the mcat and sends the apps out.

Go to the testing portion of your application and indicate which day you are signed up to take the test. No need to notify the schools. They will also receive your scores as soon as they are available.
