Ok, so I was just wondering what everyone thought would be the best way to list their shadowing experiences on AMCAS. I have shadowed a cardiologist for around 30 hours and an internist for probably near 100 hours (although over the course of two years). What would be the best way to list these in AMCAS. Should I make two EC activity entries for each doc? I want to talk about how I shadowed then in their clinics as well as in the hospital but I have read that I shouldn't talk about what I saw/gained form the experiences so I don't know. Anyway, let me know what you think. Also, as far as the "Start Date" and "End Date", if I shadowed the docs over like winter and summer breaks how would I incorporate this?

Wow, you spent 100 hours shadowing the same doctor?

You could have instead:
-Spent 100 hours studying for the MCAT
-Spent 100 hours working $12/hr and spend $1200 on something fun
-Spent 100 hours in the gym and have a significantly nicer body
-Spent 100 hours chasing girls

I would just list the specialty of the physician, number of hours, and practice setting(s).
