Just wondering what source you guys use for the following situation:

Get a call to admit a kid with disease A. Not very familiar at all with disease A and want to quickly know how to diagnose it, how to treat it, and what complications to look out for. Want to be able to look up all this information in a matter of minutes before you run down to the ER to see the patient.

What resource do you guys use for this type of situation? I was thinking uptodate would be the best one but just want to hear some thoughts. Really looking for something that is quick, highly specific, and highly clinical. Thanks for any help.

Peds in Review is my go-to right now. Typically, you'll be able to find a pretty solid review article that does a good job hitting everything that you need to know about a disease, as well as provide a good differential. Uptodate is decent, but for some peds topics, it can be lacking
