Hey everyone.

Does anyone know if there are any US schools that look at only best or most recent years of the degree for GPA calculation? I know some schools in Canada do this, but I was wondering if any US ones apply the same system. An additional question would also be if any schools consider upward trend. In this case, it would be terrible grades for 2-3 years, then 4.0 for 2 years.

Thanks in advance.

No, all of your college grades will be used to calculate your GPA. But yes, a rising trend, like you have, will be looked at favorably my most schools (as long as your overall GPA's are ok).
