  1. Attending Physician
First, I would like to say Thank you to all of the attendings that frequent this forum and drop knowledge on the residents, whether it is (bad) relationship advice, OR advice, professional advice, or just funny jokes. It reminds me why I chose this profession: The people involved in anesthesiology are in general down-to-earth and willing to help.
I am in my CA-1 year, and I am blessed to be at a program where my hours are EXTREMELY reasonable ( I just got paged for an IV start - instant karma), but even being underworked relative to other programs, sometimes life sucks being underpaid and underappreciated. All of you living the dream for me now make it worthwhile
Just want to say the case discussions are absolutely amazing. I am back on Main OR call tonight for the first time in 2 months (i am OB ceritified, so i am only on OB call now), and reading the discussions online help me refresh my memory big time! we have computers in the OR, so the time passes well with these forums. I never turn the tv on in my call room, i just read this stuff to keep me going.
seriously, thanks, keep it coming, and start hiring AA's to drive crna salaries down!
