Better to take prereqs by application?

Do DS give high priority to those that have prereqs done by application time? Or does it not matter, just as long as its completed by matriculation?

Im planning on taking physics prereq my senior year and my research project my junior year (so i have more research under my belt).

Advice?

Depends on your current GPA, DAT scores and the courses you are talking about..

If you dont have your pre-reqs done by interview time, on the interview they will bring it up and just make sure that you have plans to complete the prereqs, and will ask when where, etc.. It shouldnt hurt you though.
