Seems like there are two things people want: personal statements of current students/grads so they can take a look at a "successful" PS for inspiration, and exchange with current applicants for the purposes of comments and editing.
I just wonder if there's a better way to organize this rather than all the individual threads with "hey could you send me yours too" which means that people kindly providing PSes have to send them to each requestor separately.
Like, somewhere you could upload your PS (not exposed for the whole world to read) and mark it as in progress and wanting comments/editing vs. current student donating it as an example. And then anyone interested in reading them would be able to get them somehow... I dunno, I just feel like there should be a way to do that, in this technological day and age... Any ideas?
If not, my PS is still in my head at this point, but once I write something down I'd be happy to exchange for editing/comments and also I'd love to see some successful examples, so proceed with the individual contact...
