i made a big mistake by not adding my dental experience as a dental assistant for the past year onto my AADSAS application (i know, very careless of me). i have already submitted it too (couple weeks ago) and i just noticed it yesterday. any suggestions?

as long as you mentioned you had some sort of shadowing/experience that is up to 50 hours or more, i think you will be fine.

Call AADSAS on Monday and plead your case to them.

you actually have two choices. I am assuming here that your GPA hasn't been calculated yet. You can call them and ask them to change your application to undelivered status. In this case, your application will go to the bottom line and you have to wait another 4~5 weeks to have it mailed out. Another choice is let the application be mailed out without the experience. As others said, if you already have enough EC beside that one, you might want to consider this option because the first choice will delay from ur application mailing out quite a bit.

You could contact every school and have them amend your record. Or, put it in the secondary essay. I know some schools, like Western, will simply ask "Is there anything else you'd like to say?" basically. Good time to shine!
