What are the biggest Derm conferences to attend? Like the most prestigious? Does anyone just have a list of all the yearly derm conferences?

I would guess SID or IID (which is SID combined with the European and Japanese research societies- only happens once every 5 years I believe)

I'm sure AAD is probably up there as well

Just to clarify.. SID is more academic and generally where most of the big time researchers/academic dermatologists go where as it seems many of the more clinical practicioners go to AAD.

AAD is the big one. but mostly parties. people really seem to go there more to socialize. I would say that only 1/4 talks I've gone to was actually good enough for the "national" stage.

Summer AAD is much smaller

SID is pretty big, but is very research oriented. good quality talks

Dermpath, Peds, and Surgery also have their own meetings

Hawaii Derm is the best clinical conference i've been to. talks were consistently awesome.

Thanks can you remember the name of the Hawaii one by any chance? I am having trouble finding it online, also are there any other student general conferences other than AMSA you would reccomend? I hope everyone is doing well,

When i have to pay to go to conferences to get CME's, this is where i will go.
