You guys are not going to believe this one. It is like a bad dream.

I am just going to cut right to the chase. I missed two days of school because I got the date of return wrong!! I could have sworn it was the sixth. I checked it twice on the website.

So I go there today to get my books, and oh **** the parking lot is full. I have never felt so stupid in all my life. I don't no what to do. I really hope I don't get dropped. I don't even know why I am posting this, but I feel like crud and need to rant. I already e-mailed and left messages with all my professors, so there is really nothing else I can do until tomorrow.


I need a punching bag.

Well, at least at my university, the only classes where you would be administratively dropped is labs and possibly some small classes where they manually take attendance. That really does suck though. Hope it all turns out well.

Just heard back from one professor, and its cool. I also just realized that one of the classes I missed only meets Mon, Wed, Fri. SO I only missed one day of that. So two down, one to go. I feel better.

SDN is your punching bag. Use it well. I know my school has a short, yet very busy add/drop period so professors don't care if you don't come to class during that time. What's your school's policy?

You didn't mention any explanation when you contacted them? If I were you, I would just accept that I screwed up and move on with my life. I guess next time you should triple check, or verify with friends.

At my school we start Jan 13, 2010 a Wed. 'caused my school like to ease us it. First, a three-day week, followed by a three day weekend (Martin Luther King Jr. Day is on Monday the 13), with a four day week, normal weekend, and then finally our first full week.

Did you seriously just call me a troll? I don't think I would make it to 1200+ posts if I was. Anyways, I go to a cc, and they take attendance the first week for some reason (possibly to drop people that don't show, hence my worrying).

A lot of universities take roll too though...

Dude, thats nothing to worry about... what did you miss? Profs talking about the syllabus? Lol... Dude, again, this is nothing to worry about.. There are REAL idiots out there who forget the time of their final exam, and instead walk in at the end of the exam, rather than the beginning... Happend to this guy last semester, Prof gave him a big fat ZERO!
