Hi, I am a new attending- hospital employed(wRVU model).
Do most hospital keep the billing and collection info secret?

Yes unless you’re the medical director. They should show you your wRVUs each month though. You should also be recording these on your own at least in the beginning.

I’m able to see my billing/collection info but really isn’t relevant anyway. Your weekly/monthly wrvu tally’s should be available to you - which is how you get paid anyway.

I get sent that info. with the caveat that it doesn't really impact salary.
