Billing Audit Companies?

so we use a management company to process our claims but have had some concerns their attention to detail. have any of you ever used a third party company to perform an audit on billing to make sure they are coding correctly, etc?

By coding, do you mean they are doing all of the coding or just making tweaks, helping with modifiers.


You need to be doing all of the general coding. It is good for them to make tweaks as needed. But you can’t ever delegate all of the coding out.
