What cases are usually billed for airway avoidance.
Also if you bill for u/s guided block do you always print out picture?
Finally if you do a pop/saph block does that count as two billable blocks or just one

I was told that any case where you can't have one hand on the mask (on pts face) and one hand on the bag should be billed as "field avoidance." Obvious room for interpretation there. Keep in mind not all payers will pay for the modifiers.

Yes always print image (1 for the chart and 1 for the bill) if you're billing for USG.

Yes that's 2 billable blocks but many payers will only pay for 1 US guidance even though you used it for both and have 2 images. Other payers may fight you that 2 blocks were really "medically necessary" but you can and should bill for both.
