A friend of mine taking the DAT soon emailed me the following question he said he heard was recently on the DAT (he has been emailing a ton of ppl. to get the answer (Professors, instructor) but has gotten no responses:

What was the first method used to study secretory proteins?

I'm assuming this is a critical thinking type question that requires an understanding of how secretory proteins are made and the asnwer can then be infered from the given choices.

crystallography. that is, if you're studying the proteins, not the method of secretion.
