I just found this forum a couple days ago and it's freaking awesome!

I'll be a senior this fall and have only taken the 1st biology class (out of the 3 class sequence) at the university of washington. I was planning to take all 3 classes at uw but I got an internship offer this summer that I couldn't turn down. Can I finish up the remaining 2 classes at Stanford (the school I go to) or do I have to take all 3 of them?

The only problem is that the 1st bio class at uw is pretty similar to the final or 3rd bio class at stanford, both focusing on evolution and ecology w/ just a few other topics that aren't the same. I was planning to audit the stanford equivalent anyway, just so that i know it for the mcat. Is that going to look weird to admissions? I just don't want to waste my time by almost retaking the same class at stanford.

Hi there,
It won't make any difference in which sequence you take the courses as long as you fulfull the pre-med requirement and cover the material and do well. Good luck in California!
