Hey guys,

I had a question for those of you who have take the dat and used DAT-Q-Vault.

I pretty much have NOT studied bio while studying for the DAT. It's a bore and I have focused mainly on the chems (maybe too much). Having said that I have scored a 19 on all three DAT q vault tests I've taken. Do you think I will be okay for my DAT if I buckle down on bio for the next two weeks? What is the fastest way to bump up my score. Is DAT Q vault representative of the DAT bio?

My plan was to run through Cliff & barrons AP bios as well as destroyer.

Thanks.

Personally I think if you are going to focus solely on bio, I think its enough/doable. Honestly for each bio class, I could finish cramming in 2 days and need 1 extra day to master the material, but talking about at least 10 hour of studying.

Thanks man, I was actually thinking of devoting around four hrs per day to it. Like cover 2 chapaters in the Ap's then memorize 50 destroyer Q's a day. Maybe I'm in trouble lol.

you could also try the thinkwell video biology course. it's only like $3 for a moths access to all of their biology videos and well worth the money. the guy in the videos is a goober but he knows what he's talking about and it really helped me. good luck, you can do it.

I think Qvault helped a lot. It was the most representative of the actual DAT in terms of Randomness and difficulty. I averaged around 22 on Qvault, and scored 22 on the real thing. Plus their graphs and illustrations were helpful in memorizing some of the material.

You can do it my man.....or woman. Don't make the error though of only doing Biology. You need to review the other stuff or else that might drop down!

4 hours a day is all you really need. check out the course-saver site too and supplement the AP bio book you have with that and youre golden for bio.

No question it can be done if you are serious about it. I suggest you add topscore and acheiver questions on top.

I would think you need to read the whole barrons book which you can do in 3 days, then spend 3 days doing review questions, and the last day making review sheets on all the topics you missed. this will probably take close to 8 hours a day, especially the review questions.
