Anybody know a good review book that I can study before I take BioChem as an undergrad in the Fall?

Is there a good concise review book that anyone would recommend to use as a companion as I take BioChem?

I've heard the memorization is daunting, and I want to get a headstart on it if I can. Any other general recommendations about BioChem in general would be much appreciated?

I've digging myself out of a little GPA hole haha. Time to get to work.

By the text for the class and read every single page...three times. That should do it.

Lippincott

Agreed... the consensus among professors and medical students seems to be that the best Biochemistry review is Lippincott's Illustrated Reviews: Biochemistry. 2nd edition has been the mainstay for a while but I believe the 3rd edition is due out very soon, perhaps it is even already out.

I'll be writing one this fall. If you can wait, it should be a really good review of the metabolism secion of your biochem course

Thanks, Lippincott it is then. Hey OMAHA, I was excited to see somewhat at Creighton. I know you are just starting, but do you like Omaha? Why Creighton?
I went to a Jesuit high school and am really attracted to the idea of a Jesuit Med School? Can you have fun in Nebraska tho?
