I am currently taking BioChem I and will have an A at the end of the semester. I am unsure whether or not to take BioChem II next semester. I will also be taking Endocrinology w/ Lab, Genetics, a core class, and a psychology class. I am registered for BioChem II but I do not know if it is necessary as it will be a lot with Endo and Genetics. I also work 30+ hours per week.
Any opinions would be greatly appreciated!

What do you mean by necessary?

I suppose necessary was the wrong word to use. I do not know of any medical schools off hand that require 2 semesters of Biochem. I suppose what I am really wondering is if it will be worth it? How helpful will taking the second semester be towards the MCAT, my transcript, application, etc.

p.s. Thanks for the response!

From my experience generally one semester of biochemistry is fine. Some schools don't even require it at all.
