Anybody know of any really good biochem textbooks?

I'll need all the help I can get. 🙁

4th eddition of lehringer....just came out, way better than the previously best biochem book out there.

I also recommend Lehninger

Voet and Voet has more information but isn't as accessible for new biochem students.

My class used voet and voet...I wouldn't recommend it, I hated the way the textbook was written and organized. I've head much better things about Lehninger, so I'd go with that.

My friend, lippincott is the miniature bible of biochemisty. Most all med and grad students use this. It is an increbible, condensed book. Not a text! About $40. If you want a good text, Albert's The Cell is a very good book also. Many medical and grad schools use it. It has biochem, cell, molec, and a bit of immuno, very nice book, about $140. I am a grad student at a medical school if you are wondering.
