I am going to start applying from Summer of 2008.
I will be completing all the required courses by spring 2008 semester.

I am confused as to take Biochem course next semester or not?
Is it required that i should be done with all the required/recommended courses (like biochem) before i apply?
Can i take biochem in the semester after i would have applied to all the schools?

Because Biochem is required for some colleges while it is only recommended at other colleges.

Please advice!!!!

not required..i am taking it rite now and i applied last june

As the above poster said, you do not have to complete all prereqs before applying. You simply have to have them completed prior to matriculation. I would take it the semester after applying, if you can (unless you love the subject and feel you will do well in it, in which case it may be a benefit to have it on your transcript when applying).
