Hey guys, what do we have to know for Biochemistry of metabolism? Is that ok if we know rate limiting steps and regulation of metabolic pathways? Our school did a horrible job teaching biochem (or bad job making us learn it like they did in Anatomy), so I have to relearn all metabolism on my own.

I just opened RR biochem is am terrified by how much new info I have to learn. Any advice?

Target: 230-240ish for USMLE.

Biochem is a big part of the step. The bare minimum is Rapid Review level but that integrates path/pharm/physio into biochem, so it is a much more well-rounded review.

Depending on your background I hear the Kaplan Lecture Notes and Videos are solid for biochem as well. I'll find out personally when I work on my webprep course.

I really like the level of detail in RR Path, is RR Biochem similar? No one at my school has ever mentioned using it, they tend to talk up Lippincotts instead.
