Biochemistry at CC?

Would it be acceptable to take biochemistry at a community college? The reason I'm asking is I live about an hour away from home currently for school, and the university I'm at only offers biochemistry in the fall semesters. I'm planning on moving back home when I graduate next spring, and biochemistry will be the only course I have remaining. So is it acceptable to take this class at my community college if I originally started at a university? This would be the only CC course I would have taken.

I would advise against that...because Biochemistry is one of your first tough classes in dental school. I took the hardest professor at my undergrad (there were no seats with the other instructor left) and now I am SOOOO thankful it happened that way. I wouldn't say Biochemistry is easy, because the amount of info is a lot more, but a great foundation in it will do wonders for you in DS. Best wishes to you, and good luck!

Yeah take it at your university. I don't recommend taking biochemistry at a CC.

I think it's acceptable, especially if it's the only class you take at a CC. It won't make or break your application, that's for sure.

Santa Monica College. Chem 31 which is equivalent to Chem 153 A+L (upper div) of UCLA.
