Question: what are the community college that has biochemistry?(acceptable)

University of Minnesota has online biochemistry.

im in same situation now. anyone have any ideas? i want to keep my full time job so if anyone knows of any other online biochem classes or schools with night classes in socal please let me know. THANKS!

I took biochem at UCLA extension - you can take A, B, or C in any order and I believe it is offered every quarter at night.

hmm yea i'm not sure if an online class would be acceptable....

my school doesn't offer it until the fall either, which is why i have to graduate in december instead of may 🙁 (and taking molecular bio this fall too)

boy am i excited to only be taking two classes!

Most don't accept more than 60 community college credits.

I think theres only 2-3 schools that don't accept CC credits, tufts being one of them. I have to further investigate this 🙂

I graduated and applied after that, but OSU decided to make physiology a required course for this year, but I was already out of school and starting a job. I took it at the local community college. They said under the circumstances that was fine, taking 1-2 courses from a community college to fulfill prereqs was fine, so I took the class every-other week on Saturdays and the rest was online tests and quizzes. Worked for me, I'd suggest looking in that avenue - plus it was only $500!

I am in the Columbus area. Would you mind telling me where I can do this? I was not able to get it into my schedule this year and I am graduating this spring. This is exactly what I was looking to do this summer, if possible.

i go to the university of florida. They are one of the few schools that require biochem, but let me tell you what an assistant dean of admissions recently shared. She said at a confrence of about 15 or so schools, she asked others what they thought about online courses (UF wont accept online pre reqs but she was asking others), they said they have plenty of qualified applicants that take regular classes they dont need to worry about online courses, essentially DONT DO IT. Any pre reqs shouldnt be taken online, thats the impression she gave at least. Good luck to all
