Hi guys,
I am a bioengineering major. I have taken human physiology for engineers, biomolecular engineering, tissue engineering, biomechanical engineering, and functional anatomy for engineers - they all they had associated labs with them. On my AMCAS application last year, some of these classes counted towards my BCPM science GPA even though they were engineering courses.
My question is - will any of these labs meet the "Biology Lab Requirements" for medical schools? Essentially, all labs had all the components of regular biology labs but just an hour or two longer due to the engineering application component into each lab. I would rather not waste time/money doing biology labs to meet this requirement, so I really hope these labs will count! Anybody with info please share!!
Thanks!
