I'm in a bit of a quandry because I'm applying to med school but my SO is going for a PhD in bioinorganic chemistry so ending up in the same geographic area is a problem. I'm not sure how much information I'm going to be able to obtain since the field seems to be so small.

I was curious if anyone could vouch for any specific universities in the Chicago, Philadelphia, Kansas City, and New Jersey areas.

So far the last includes Princeton, UPenn, Northwestern, Iowa State......

Thanks in advance.

Don't know about the rest, but Northwestern has a superb inorganic chemistry department, so that may extend to bioinorganic chemistry as well.
