I am considering being a biology major in my school and was wondering what classes I should possibly take in the fall that may help me for the MCAT, etc. Here are the choices I have:

Principles of Animal Physiology
Genetics
Developmental Biology
Microbiology and Microbial Genomics
Bio statistics
Immunology
Intro to Ecology
Intro to Neural
Cellular & Molecular Neurobiology

Also how helpful is Biochemistry?

Thanks

Highlighted courses are pretty helpful.

Physiology helps immensely on the Bio section. I'd recommend taking Biochem as well for second messenger systems, DNA replication, etc.

I think Physiology, Genetics, and maybe Intro to Neural would be helpful, particularly the first two. Biochemistry would definitely help.

Physiology seems to be the overwhelming choice. Is it really that prevalent on the MCAT. The Physiology class is taught by an extremely difficult professor.
