I only have a semester of biology science with lab. But I will taking a biochemistry course with a lab component next yr. Can I count it as biological science with lab pre-req for all dental school? Or must I take "biology" course with lab? Thanks!

I believe the requirement is one full year of biology with a lab and biochemistry doesn't fall under the aegis of biology. If you are still in doubt contact the schools you are interested in to see what they have to say on the matter.

Where is MVSO4 when you need him? He'd explain it to Smooth...yeah, explain it. That's the word to describe it.

In honor of my fallen comrade MVS....I wail for humanity.

i believe that biochem is considered biology. at least in my books. check with your schools.

At my school biochem is listed as a chemisry course, not biology. Many schools are now require biochem on top of the 8 hrs of biology anyway. look into it with the schools you are applying to. (website or call in)
