I have not taken general biology, botany or zoology since high school. I went straight to Anatomy, Physiology, Histology and Embryology. I noticed that some of the schools do state that they want 8 hrs of general biology or botany or zoology for their bio requirements. Will they accept the higher level courses for those requirements?

Nope nor will they accept AP credits. you'll have to go back and retake Bio I and II. But look at it as an advantage those classes are easy and can boost your sGPA

You will have to re-take Bio I and Bio II. Should be easy for you. The upper levels will only boost your application!

If there is a particular school that you are interested in you can call and ask... If your grades are great and you have a good DAT score that can go a long way. Some schools only care that it says "BIOXXX" as a course. It all depends on the school and your circumstances. Just remember that they have the final say and that if you want to play it safe, just take the courses again. Good luck to you.

Thanks all for the input.I have an interview at one of the schools that requires those classes and will hopefully get an answer then. Will contact the other schools and find out what they say.
