I am having such a hard time with memorize all the different types of biomes and order... This is mainly because it doesn't interest me much.... do you guys know any good way to memorize them or mnemonic????

What helped me (since I'm a visual learner) was to find google images of each biome and associate it with an actual region in this world.

Never thought of that. Will do now. I hate biomes as well. I thinkt taxonomy and biomes really suck.

OH NICE IDEA! But what about how they are ordered around the equator and things like that.... Where can I find info about that! The books I have don't have ecology 🙁

I like LD's idea though I did not try myself. I was able to retain it after like 10th time reading about it. But heck yea it is so boring.

But Don't try to memorize everything in one shot I guess. Try to learn just one keyword for the specific biome at a time, and expand a little more after and I think you will be able to retain everything after a while. For example, Tundra - permafrost, tropical forest - most diverse species that type of thing.

Then again, the topic itself has no way around conceptually learning it so just pounding it in your head somehow is the only way lol.

You don't have barrons or cliff AP?
Googling it might be sufficient

Also understand that you can have different biomes as you increase in altitude and not merely latitude from the equator to the poles.
