#1. a body plan with radial symmetry is found in which of the following gorups?
a. flatworms
b. roundworms
c. hydrozoans and jellyfish
d. rotifers
e. sponges
==> answer is c, but why not e?

#2. which of the following carries the code that determines the sequence of monomers in a protein?
a. rRNA
b. tRNA
c. mRNA
d. the large ribosome subunit
e. DNA polymerase
==> answer is c, but why not b?

#3. insight is same as trial-and error learning in animal behavior?

sponges (porifera) are part of the parazoan evolutionary branch and have no true tissues, and do not have radial or bilateral symmetry. radial/bilateral symmetry describe the eumetazoan branch, which consists of organisms with true tissues.

tRNA simply read the mRNA, which ultimately directs the order of AA's to be added. the tRNAs simply serve as transporters.

hope this helped

Insight is not the same as trial and error. They both lead to bringing novelty in the results, but trial and error is when yo try several things and something apparently seem to work. However, insight is when you actively think about something. Think about the monkey and the boxes example, where the monkey actually stacks the boxes to get to the food. This is insight, he thought about the clues that were given to him.
If it was trial and error, then monkey would just randomly do stuff and figure out which one works the best. Sorry if this is confusing. If you have a Campbell or cliff, its explained in there very well. So, read some examples.

I can see how you can get the second question mixed up. I bet when you read carries the "code" you thought of the Genetic Code, and thought of tRNAs carrying the genetic code to the mRNA. I thought it was tRNAs too but its definetely how its worded, thanks for the questions thought
