How often should you perform labwork for patients on mood stabilizers (i.e. Lithium or Depakote)?
 
Depends on if you're in the process of titration, or are doing periodic office monitoring.

Normally 3-6 months for the latter, also depending on clinical stability.

Inpatient is much more frequent, depending on the attending. More along the lines of weekly until stable therapeutic levels are obtained.
