I know this may seem to be a very naive post but I have been considering surgery (preferably neurosurgery) for a while now, but I am not sure how I would react if i had to cut open someone's scull-flap and examine their brian on a constant basis. I wouldn't call myself a queezy person, but I'm not certain that I could "hack" cutting people open and examining their insides! I know it may sound slightly foolish, but i have been very interested in surgery for a while. However I don't want to decide to do medicine and then find out that I'll faint at the operating table! Has anyone ever considered this when they were deciding what to do?

If you have already gone through anatomy lab dissection, and enjoyed it, I don't see why you should be worried.
