I was just curious if anyone has used these and had any success with them? My situation, and I'm sure many other students as well, is that I use a nook for a couple textbooks and I'm constantly on my laptop watching lectures or reading notes for classes. I know that melatonin gets depleted if your constantly exposed to light from any source and that can lead to diminished quality of sleep. Apparently what these sunglasses do is block out blue wavelength light, which is the one that primarily depletes melatonin stores. I was thinking of wearing them around 6 pm every night until I go to bed to see if my quality of sleep improves. I'm sure some people will say to take melatonin pills but id rather not do that haha, I heard there can be side effects. Any thoughts/opinions are appreciated, thanks!

If you google "f.lux", it's a program that does the same thing I guess. I use it, but I can't really tell if it really helps. I took antihistamines but felt drowsy in the morning, so I switched to melatonin and it hasn't given me any side effects. I stopped taking them after Step 1 and haven't really had trouble falling asleep without them except when I take day naps.
