Blunt Trauma

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
The body type which best survives trauma is at least moderately tattooed, including prison time marks, killer clown skulls, prison racial gang tats, and something on the hands. Much of the time, it is somewhat thin, but in a "ropy" or poorly nourished sense rather than a fit one. Missing, broken, eroded teeth are protective. Appearing at least 10 years older than stated age OR being a foulmouthed intoxicated punk are protective. Heavily tattooed dirty old abusive biker bastard is probably the overall safest way to be, extra credit if accompanied by scantily clad meth skank (double EC if you verbally abuse her while lying on the gurney).

Yeah, it seems like whichever body type is most likely to be intoxicated is the one most likely to survive . . . . .

Moped accidents at any speed incur little or no damage to the rider. The protective aura of the "Redneck Force Field" reduces all inertia, minimizing damage to tissue.

I prefer to think of it in a ratio of how much the person contributes to society. The little old lady delivering meals on wheels will incur a devastating C2 fracture with a minor MVC, but the aformentioned tattooed gent can survive an inordinant amount of trauma (thrown off a motorcycle, and beaten up by "some dudes" all at once, for example) and just be pissed that he's in a c-collar. And subsequently remove it.

I haven't seen any actual studies, but have seen enough trauma to agree with the above.
