Hey ya'll

Where do you find out information about national rankings on board scores? For either boards?

UK says it "does well" in boards but does not get specific with its ranking.......

For schools to get "down and dirty" with their rankings, you typically have to be an enrolled student there.

Schools simply don't like to give out board scores/rankings to pre-dental students.

For MOST schools the best response you'll get is "we were 9th in the nation for the past three years" or "our average part I scores have risen 8 points in the last two years," etc., etc.

SOME schools will flat-out tell you, but most schools won't, so don't be surprised if you run into dead-ends in your quest for official information.

hmm i remember when i was at U. of Mich... they gave out a thing that said they were 2nd in the Midwest schools... I asked Mark at Temple also and he just said they typically fall in the average/above average range and that most schools are concentrated w/in 85 or 86ish average... w/ a few outliers. I can't remember the exact number he mentioned anymore.... from all 10 schools I interviewed at...either they gave it out on a handout during the interview or they kinda just ignored it and didn't say anything....

Michigan hands statistics out about theirs when you interview.
