What is everyone using to study?

I guess I am asking Jonwill... anyother 4th years out there?

Or any of the 1st time passers from previous years that have any suggestions would be extremely helpful. DPMGRAD?

I am using USMLE Step 2 clinical Knowledge and the Podiatry Review book with answers and questions. I have looked thru Foot and Ankle Secrets already, read the PI. Any thing else out there that is good? And I have read the Residency Review Manual for interviews.

I have been using presby, podiatric medicine: pearls of wisdom, and some binder of sample test questions for part II that our school gave us. Some docs I know say that they just studied pocket pod or didn't study that much at all. But I'd rather be over-prepared and pass than be under-prepared and fail!

The review guide by Dr. Kushner (pearls of wisdom) is supposed to be really helpful. One of my friends (currently a resident) praises it, so its definitely worth a look.

That is the book that I refer to as "thepod book with questions and answers in it"

I could not remember the name of it.

To Jonwill: I do not trust those who said they barely studied. I told that to many 2nd years for this years part I and many of them failed. What they did not understand was that I learned the material properly the 1st time so I could glaze it over for the boards.

I hope the glaze over works for the 2nd part too😱

Many of my classmates (including myself) and students after me have utilized many of the books already listed such as the Podiatry Pearls of Wisdom (great for the Podiatry Law and Community Health stuff), Presby Manual, PI Manual, etc... In addition, I also used the Hershey Manual and Dermik ETAS Online Practice Exam and Study Guide. The Dermik ETAS Online Practice Exam and Study Guide is nice in that it has study notes (written majority by NYCPM faculty), tons of practice questions, and it is FREE. You can access the practice exams and study guide online via http://www.studyexam.com/login.php
All you need to do is to create an account and you are set to go. I also liked the Hershey Manual as well. If you need to get a hold of the Hershey Manual, let me know and probably can lend you mine. By the way, all of the above will help with Part 3 as well, especially, the Hershey Manual, Presby, and Dermik ETAS online stuff. I hope that this helps. Good luck.
