took em yesterday. Studied a lot, not as much as some. A lot of questions i knew the answer to. A lot of questions were f'in ridiculous, like two or three choices that i thought could be the answer or in some cases none of the choices made any sense. then there were a lot of questions that i had absolutely no idea whatsoever. i hope i passed.

Well, I hope that you did better than you thought. I am still awaiting my scores. I studied hard and felt like I knew all of the info on the questions except for a handful. I am getting nervous because it is taking so long. Please post your results when you get them.

Do you feel the first part (first 200 Q) is harder than the second part (last 200 Q) like I do? Thanks! :scared:

Hi oldboy, do you feel the first part (first 200 Q) was harder than the second part (last 200 Q) like I do? Thanks! :scared:

i felt like the last part of the second part was harder.
The clinical scenarios were, for the most part fine. It was the random multiple choice questions i had problems with. it's hard to tell, i may just be focusing on the ones i didn't know or i know i answered wrong. how long have most people been waiting on their scores?

Well, i studied dental decks and the last 3 weeks I did old exams. I read each question, answered it and then looked up the answer key. I then looked up the answer in First Aid,dental decks , wikipedia, old text books to read the subject. I also looked up the other answer choices so that I could understand why it was not correct for that question. It helps because if they ask the question in another way, you would know the answer still. This took hours to do, but it refreshes you on the basics. There was not many if any, diagrams for dental anatomy on my exam. It did not appear hard as I took the test that day. I had ear plugs, slept well the night before and had a light breakfast and lunch that day. I did a lot of praying for Peace of mind and it really worked. I did not get anxious or nervous at all. I was totally calm and felt like I knew the answer to each question except for a few. The clinicals were not bad. Only one made me have to go back and review it before the test ended. Most of the info is not needed but if you know that basics, you can answer the questions anyway. I think that the more positive you think, the better you will do. Eliminating the anxiety helps improve your focus. I only had 10 minutes left after each section. I took my time and read every question in detail and some 3 or 4 times to make sure I was not making simple mistakes. Always memorize eruption sequence for both dentitions, anatomical details of each tooth, esp. premolars. I will let you know what happens when I call about the scores.👍😉:meanie:

took the exam last week..felt the same..the second 200 bits a bit tough..how long does it take for the results to come on the average nowadays?

yes u can & u can change your selected options any number of times u want.
but when the time is over the system locks you out,
it's better to complete all q. first, mark those q. which u feel are doubtful for later review.

I have heard from people who have taken the boards in march that the topics from the 2004 exam were very heavily represented... Did you guys find that your exam was most like any certain released or unreleased exam?
