Bombing an interview. Still accepted.

In the midst of all this post-interview anxiety. Does anybody know of anyone who had a bad/mediocre/bombed an interview but still gained acceptance?

I know a girl who was so anxious, she literally burst into tears and stormed out of the room during her med school interview. She came back in like five minutes later after getting herself together, finished the interview. She got in. An interview cant really go much worse than that.

I have heard from several people who thought their interview went very bad, but still got in. You never know! You might think you did very bad during an interview, but your interviewer might think the opposite.

I felt like I bombed an interview (was late to the interview, had horrible answers to their questions and asked dumb questions after that) and was accepted... then again I though I killed an interview somewhere else and was rejected as lol.
