I'm partial to that second one, "Practical Cardiovascular Pathology", by Burke and Tavora. Quality images, pretty complete while being reasonably concise, and recent (2011). While I may be somewhat biased by having met both of them and having worked with Burke in residency and some in fellowship, I still don't think there's a text in the last 5 or so years that comes close -- not one I've seen, anyway.
For pulmonary I haven't explored very many so I don't have much of a base of comparison, but the non-tumor AFIP fascicle I find pretty useful, "Non-Neoplastic Disorders of the Lower Respiratory Tract", by Travis et al.
But neither one of those books are cheap, and the latter is non-tumor only. If you have no future interest in those organ systems or autopsy/forensic path, there may be more cost effective alternatives -- even something like one of the general autopsy texts, none of which are great but can still probably get you through the bare basics, like Ludwig's "Handbook of Autopsy Practice" or Finkbeiner's "Autopsy Pathology: A Manual and Atlas" or something, in conjunction with a general surgical pathology text. Or, you might be able to convince the department to get a copy of one or both of the more complete texts.
