Books about each school?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Are you asking if there are books about each dental school, much like Cliff Notes? If so, the answer is no. Some sources, such as the ADEA, Barron's, and so on publish their own guides and references to dental schools. These are great starting points and this is where I started my 'knowledge base' of dental schools. Beyond that I have discussed dental schools with current practitioners, dental students, and fellow undergraduate students (not to mention going through the application/interview process and seeing some of these schools first hand) and through such networking one can easily get a good feel for many dental schools and what their preferences, programs, etc. are. Hang around on SDN long enough, combined with your own personal research, and you'll be chiming in on school discussions as well.

I would recommend The Pre-Dental Guide: A Guide for Successfully Getting into Dental School by Joseph Kim. It explains the whole process very quickly. You will find the same information as SDN, but you won't need to hunt down all the information you want. I found it a good starting place in the admission process.
