i'm going to study psychology next year and i'm particulary interested in these topics:
*personality change. a book about how and why one's personality can change.
*influencing others. a book how you can influence somebody to change his part of personality or a bad habit, maybe starting doing something good like jogging as an example.
*the last one - how works self-suggestion? how the guy can start believing that he doesn't want to go to the cinema on saturdays, even though he LOVES going there for example. and what could make them believe what they want again, face their true wishes.

could you suggest any wort-to-read books on these topics?

Personality is pretty difficult to change, so there won't be any books on how to change it. What you're describing is behavioral change. You can use behavioral methods to modify behaviors, but the underlying personality traits may not be addressed.

As for what these methods are, if you're studying psychology, you will learn them in classes and your professors will give you relevant reading materials. From your post it sounds like you're trying to change someone specifically in your life, and that's not appropriate to discuss on these boards.

For the second asterisk, pick up a book by Miller and Rollnic called "Motivational Interviewing"
