Hello people,
my name is Oleg, a third year medical student in Russia,
I'm welling to try after this year the USMLE1, since I was studying in Russian,
I want you to recommend for me the right books to study from, since the first year(Anatomy biochemistry physio patho histo etc etc) ! so I'll go back on everything in English.
I'll make a list, buy them, and start... and then I'll buy the USMLE exam prepration!
thanks in advance

Yes I know my reuqest sounds weird, but I really need to start over again from the very start, all in english. thanks again and i'll be waiting

Hi Oleg, I highly recommend you buy the First Aid for the USMLE Step 1 book first. At the end of this book, there's a whole section dedicated to the rating of review books for each subject.

As for me, I've been using the Kaplan Lecture Notes except for two subjects and highly recommend them. Those two subjects are Pathology (Pathoma and Goljan) and Physiology (BRS Physiology).

Finally, I also recommend you use the search function of the forum to look for other opinions as well. There is simply no single perfect book for each subject. Ultimately, I suggest you look at the ratings in the First Aid, look at the other posts, preview the books in Amazon, Google Books or similar websites (or physically if you can) and pick a book which you feel you can use effectively.

Good luck in your studies.
