I was told to come to the anesthesiology forum for this question. Might as well try it!

I'm looking for a good book that discusses rationale for selection of certain IV fluids and a deeper physiological understanding of how they're working in the body. Much appreciated!

p.s. much searching turned up nothing that firmly answered my question.

Morgan and Mikhail - Clinical Anesthesiology
Marino - The ICU Book

Thank you much! I didn't realize Morgan and Mikhail's had the chapter on fluid management, otherwise I would've bought it sooner.
