Hey I was just wondering what books everyone carries around with them in hospitals? Everyone in my school uses the Oxford Medical Handbook (and I think I'm the only one who hasn't bought it yet) but I was just wonder if I had any other options.

Also, I have OSCE exams coming up and I was wondering if anyone knew any good books to assist in studying... a nice book that will give you a topic (say cholecystitis) and just list important history points, physical exam points, important tests, and basic management. Just something handy to read over quickly incase I forget anything. Does anything like that exist?

The Oxford Medical Handbook is the best I can think of. Everything I needed was there.

For the OSCE I suggest the Oxford Handbook of Clinical Diagnosis, you can preview it here

Oxford is Jesus. Eat it, Breathe it, Live it.
