Hey so we just received the booklist (fellow VCOMers) and I was wondering where most people get their books. Do you just get them from the school bookstore? Or is it better to try to get them from some of the online bookstores? Any experiences?
ALSO- has anyone kept their books from undergrad? Like Intro to Immunology, Anatomy & Physiology, Pathology, etc. and actually used them in medschool? Should I go ahead and sell mine back to the bookstore? Any comments would be greatly appreciated!!! 🙂

http://www.amazon.co.uk is a good location for online books. If it is published in London, it will be half the cost than the U.S. Don't forget a conversion chart!

Shop around - walmart.com, amazon.com, barnes&noble.com, campusi.com, powells.com, etc. It's amazing the differences in prices that you can get.

don't get books until school starts----you may not end up needing to buy half of them

Amazon Auctions has been really good for me. Also, www.gettextbooks.com will search the web by title, author, or ISBN #. It seems pretty decent to find good deal on the internet.
